Neenu asked me to pass her thanks on you for the beautiful prayers sent to soothe her pain. She would like if you didn't stop praying for the uplift of her wounded heart! Your prayers are balm to Neenu's pain because they prove that she is not abandonned because we are here for her...Thank you for that!

Jayan's proposal was dropped but Neenu's parents unfortunately found two "proposal-guys" again, one of whom will visit Neenu this Sunday, on March 30... Neenu tries to be hard like a stone, without emotions in order to pull herself through this "SALE"-business but she is numb as if she had been in the cold for too long. No happiness in her young life. But still Neenu has a plan: she wants to find a job outside of Kerala after June (when she has to take an exam) as to become free from the family terror. She wouldn't want to marry anyone without her parents' consent, or to lead an indecent life, she only wants to be HERSELF, to find friends and her purpose in life which is not being forcefully sold on the "meat-market" called marriage-proposal. Please pray for the success of Neenu's plan! She is so thankful for every prayer from you, my friends! This place is the only one she can hope to get support because of her isolation at home... God bless you all for your kindness!

My lovely Ninocska received another proposal, and it seems to be acceptable for everyone, including Neenu! The guy is educated, nice, polite and calm - he didn't look at Neenu from top to toe (neither his parents did) as if she was a "merchandise for sale", but he treated her with reverence and appreciation - he honestly liked what (WHOM!) he saw and was nice to Ninu. Now Neenu's parents make an "inquiry" into the circumstances of the family to see the background of this 28 years old young man. Neenu feels quite comfortable about it - I think it was necessary for her to get to know Jayan and to receive his cruel letter about HIS proposal. (which was dropped by the girl, NOT by him!) So she has a much more clear picture what to look for in a future husband and this guy pleased her... Pray for our lovely Neenu to find her happiness with this man!!! Somehow I feel this proposal very promising. Today is the feast of Hindu New Year when Hindus celebrate Krishna at lavish and joyful festivals of Vishu. Neenu asks You, friends, to pray for her SUCCESSFUL exam which will be held on May 12. Neenu has so many things going on in her life right now that she had neither time nor mood to study. Her gonnabe (="future"? do I use the correct words?) husband's family visited Neenu last weekend, two days later ten members of Neenu's family came to her house, she also had a trip to her mother's birthplace, so she had no chance to prepare for the exam. But the result of this exam is very important so Ninu really needs your prayer-support!!! Please folks pray for her! Thanks a lot on Neenu's behalf!
