For the last couple of months, I have been losing the eyesight in my right eye. The left one has always been bad even with glasses.

I went to the opthamalogist like a good girl, even got the second opinion. Not a damn thing that they could do about it. Not even a scary operation. It's caused by the inside of the cornea peeling away from the inside wall of the eyeball. Old age they told me!

So, now on top of coping with limited mobility, frequent migraines, neuralgia, COPD, shingles and other unmentionables, I have one more thing to grieve in the list of wonderful blessings of getting older. BAH HUMBUG!

It's frustrating. It's scary. It's sad... and it pisses me off.

I need to get out of myself, get some perspective
