Prayer for Engagement and Marriage

Please pray for my boyfriend and I. We have discussed marriage extensively and know that God has placed us together for the purpose of marriage and to do His work. There has been a few times in which he planned to propose, but something happened. Each time has been a disappointment. The longer we wait, the harder it is for us to resist temptations. We want to be obedient to God and to do things in His order. Unfortunately, we have fallen, but have gotten back on track. We know the enemy is trying to distract and deter us from doing what is right in the sight of God. Please pray for our strength and that God will make provisions for an engagement and wedding soon.

Father, I lift this prayer up with blessingsinprayer today. We ask that your will be done in this situation. We ask that you place a hedge of protection around this couple so evil will not enter into their lives. We ask that you send angels to guide them as they journey through this life on earth. We ask that they be blessed with respect for each other, love for each other, and open up positive communication. We ask that you allow them to put the past behind them and begin moving them into a beautiful and bright future. Amen
