My father and mother have had a very trying life. My mother got pregnant when she was 17; my father was 19. Over the years came 3 additional children . My mother didn't work until all of us children were in school bc daycare was too expensive. My father worked and worked. My family was very poor growing up, but the love and devotion my parents had for us got us by. It has always been one thing after another for my parents, and things had a way of going wrong..The year 2007 looked like a brighter year for my parents. With all the children finally out of the house, my parents had a chance to save money and pay debts. Well, towards the end of 2007 my father had to replace the leaky roof, and the heating and cooling unit had to be replaced bc the other one went out. All the finacial burdens put alot of stress on my parents but they made it through with the extra cash they managed to save up and through financing. Well, at the beginning of 2008 my mother lost her job. She still has not had any luck finding a job. Today things got even worse. This morning my father and brother were in an accident. My father's new truck (has had a little Ford Ranger for 2 weeks) was totaled by a deer that ran out and hit them. The financial stresses keep adding up for my parents. I ask that you please pray for them. I talked to my father this morning and he is in quite a depressive state. My parents are truly good people. They set all their dreams aside for me and my siblings. They sacrificed so much for us. Not only are they good to their family, they are good to others. They would probably do just ab anything for anyone. They would give the shirt off their backs for someone in need of a shirt. With mine and your prayers maybe they will see sunny days and will make it through these hard times. Thank you.
