PLEASE PRAY FOR MY SON'S APPOINTMENT
My son has an appointment today to discuss treatment options for opiate addiction after a recent major battle to get off of the drugs. He suffered extreme withdrawals but managed to get off of the drugs, it's been about 2 weeks, I believe since he used. I have been scared to death of relapse before he could make it to this appointment today. There is an injection you can get called Vivitrol (Naltrexone), that lasts 1 month. the medicine blocks any opiates from creating a "high" (if you should take them) and also helps tremendously with the cravings. You have to be completely free of the opiates before you can get this medication so PLEASE PRAY that the doctor is able to allow him to get the shot today or tomorrow! He also needs to see a counselor and go to meetings to resolve some of his other underlying issues, this is the other 50% of the recovery, so pray that he can find a counselor/meetings that he will fit in to so he will go. Thank you prayer friends, this is so important to me.

Praying for complete recovery for this son. Heal him completely from this addiction. Guide him to the right people for treatment of his condition. Father, watch over this family as they are dealing with this trial in their lives. Bless them with courage, hope, faith, and trust. Amen

Dear Lord, I come to you in prayer today for angeltouched and her son. I lift this son up for your healing touch. Please help these drugs to be out of his system. Remove all his cravings for them. Draw him closer to you for strength and guidance. Please lay your hands on his doctors and counselors and guide them to the best treatments for him. Please help him to overcome all of his obstacles so that he can overcome this addiction. Please wrap your loving arms around angeltouched and comfort and strengthen her. Fathere God I lift up angeltouched son to You, I pray that You will hold him in Your loving arms and that YOU will take this craving for drugs from him and that Your will be done in his life!! Angeltouched, see if there is a program in your area called Celebrate Recovery. It is an awesome Christian program based on the 12 steps. We have one at our church and it is quite successful! This recovery program is for everyone. so I know he would fit in and be comfortable. So please check with you local churches or counselors to see if it is offered where you are.
Also, there is a wonderful program called Teen Challenge that as an amazing recovery rate that you might want to check out. God Bless You and Your Son. May the Lord Bless You and Keep You!!! AMEN AMEN AMEN
