It maybe strange to be excited to go into rehab, but, we have the right to rejoice! My niece was at first not expected to live, then they cursed her with the expectations to stay in a coma or if she woke up to be infantile and unresponsive. Now, she is awake, alert, remembers her family and can talk (limited vocabulary and understanding but excellent (and beyond any hopes the doc's gave) for what she has been through) and do some things on her own (left side needs retrained, just like after a stroke). God has just begun to work on his child and her mother, and brothers, as they are not saved either. She woke up so early that the Dr.s do not know what to expect because her brain has not had multiple months to heal, as they said, she woke up after only 4 weeks and now has left the hospital to go to rehab and work to regain what she has lost. She is going to have to work hard to regain her life--but, God will be there too, proving himself to her and her family every step of the way. The prognosis does not matter! God has proven the Dr.'s wrong over and over again through her miraculous recovery to this point! God, please continue to manifest your healing power in Rebecca's life and show off some more by allowing her to regain total use of her left side and her thinking ability to return to that of a 19 year old girl. Re-connect, re-construct, re-design her brain to function normally. Bind your strength to Rebecca and her family so that they will see you for who you are and acknowledge you as their own personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord for your answer!
