Please join me in prayer to pray for this couple that the Lord put in my path yesterday. I was visiting a lady from my church who is homebound and some friends of hers came over and we all began talking. They recently lost their 16 year old son due to a drunk driver. From what I understand this couple's two children; 14 and 16 years old; were at home in their yard (10 ft from the road) and this drunk driver ended up in their front yard killing their oldest son. The 14 year old watched the entire thing. And the guys lawyer thinks that the DA is going TOO FAST on pressing charges and whatnot. This is extremely hard. But this couple has a tremendous amount of faith in the Lord. They have completely left everything in His hands for Him to handle. Then on top of all of this a good friend of theirs named Danny Pile (I think) has been sent to Duke Hospital because he had a major heart attack. Please join me in prayer for this couple.

Lord,
I am coming to You in prayer this evening and I am asking You Lord that Your hand would be upon this couple and their family as they face these trials. Strengthen their faith daily Lord. Give them the strength that they need to get through and endure this court battle and let their love for You and their son flow towards and surround the man that took Shay's life. I pray Lord that You would touch this man's heart and begin to work in his life. Break his will Lord. I pray Lord that vengence and justice would be Yours Lord, and no one elses. I lift up Danny to You in prayer Lord. I ask Lord that Your Mighty Healing Hand would be upon him and that his heart would be fine and that his health would be restored back to him. I ask Lord that You would look over this couple and their family and friends. I ask all this in Jesus Name. Amen.
