84yr Old man living alone needs tumour operation

Please pray for uncle Bill who has a sister abroad, but no other relatives. He needs prayers for emotional, financial & spiritual help as well as people willing to help in taking care of him. The person(s) taking care of him now are "torturing him" he says. Please pray for help to be given willingly and cheerfully. Help us not to be fearful in doing good / providing help. Though we are shifting to the outskirts of the city. Thank you.

Update - about 1 month ago:

uncle has asked me to get him admitted into hospital. Pray that we are given the wisdom, understanding, knowledge, faith and discernment required in order to make the right decisions. Please pray that God blesses all uncle's decisions and should I be the one who God chooses to do the needful, then that God may guide and bless my decisions too. Please pray that there are no complications either medically or or at the personal level, especially considering the entire situation. Thank you so much for your prayers. We really, really, need your prayers.

Update - 22 days ago:

Just heard that uncle Bill has been admitted into hospital at 9 o'clock last night. He will be operated on Monday, 28th April, 2008. Please pray that uncle Bill makes a speedy recovery. Thank you so much for all your prayers.

Update - 18 days ago:

Uncle Bill's operation has been postponed till next Monday i.e. 5th May 2008. He has blood transfusion every day for a few hours. Yesterday he seemed cheerful. Thanks for your prayers.

Update - 11 days ago:

Thank you for your prayers. God has worked a miracle. The operation is successful so far. Uncle Bill was given saline and oxygen and is still in terrible pain, BUT yesterday, he did not require blood. Today, they have started him on antibiotics for the pain and he is now being given blood. BUT I want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers, bringing about this miracle. We were shown the tumour. I was aghast to see the size. Praise be to God for the successful operation at his age of 84 yrs. !!! He not only regained conciousness, but his mind is very alert as before. Praise and thanks be to God now and forever and THANK YOU ALL ONCE AGAIN FOR YOUR PRAYERS. ONLY FERVENT PRAYERS COULD HAVE MADE THIS MIRACLE POSSIBLE. THANK YOU GOD FOR HEARING OUR PRAYERS AND ACCEDING OUR REQUEST.

Update - 2 days ago:

You will be gld to know that uncle Bill is able to sit up with help and also take a few steps in his room in the hospital with the help of two nurses and two ward boys. He is getting the help he needs.
Two days ago, we had to get him blood plasma and we waited three hours that night in the blood bank. However, we got to the hospital at midnight and he was immediately given the blood plasma. Since then, he seems to be better than before. He is now on solid food. Thank you so much for your prayers.

jacqueline1712 - about 1 month ago: Thank you so much for your prayers. Please keep praying. Uncle Bill's haemoglobin count is 7. If it comes down to 4 he will die. He needs immediate blood transfusion but the person who has taken charge of him (ex-wife) is not admitting him into hospital inspite of several trips made there and a confirmation of admission for Friday, 4th April 2008 and confirmed date of operation being Monday, 7th April, 2008. Please pray that God gives us guidance on how to tackle this situation so that he gets the medical attention he requires.
