Most Gracious Heavenly Father:
As I read the mutlitude of prayer requests from so many of Your beloved children, I began to see just how many of Your children are allowing the enemy into their lives unintentionally. The enemy is so very frustrated, devastated and disgusted every time one of your children logs on to this website and others which exist much like it; or pray, or act in Your name, ask for Your Divine Guidance or rebuke him, that he is trying every thing he possibly can to get even one of Your beloved children away from You, Your Will, Your Way and Your Love. We know the enemy attacks us when we least expect it and disguises himself in ways we'd never suspect. We have been taught that he can and his minions can represent themselves as pure innocence and profess to be something they are not, and be very, very convincing. We know he is capable of attacking us in so many ways, not just the obvious. We know the enemy is intelligent, You Yourself have told us this. We know the enemy will take advantage of us at every chance he and his minions can possibly get, we know he never, ever gets tired of trying and refuses to quit. We know the enemy attacks our families, our jobs, our health, our finances, whether thru temptation that leads us to take actions against Your will, or whether he attacks us straight on thru others, or by placing unclean desires in our hearts or minds. We know he delights in attacking each one of us, no matter how deep and ancient our Faith in You, no matter how recent. We know he will attack us when we are seemingly at our lowest and worst and we know he will tempt us when we are at our highest of highs. Lord, please help Your beloved children to remain strong in Your name. Please help us to spread Your word, Your love and Your wisdom, particularly when Your Name and Words are ill received among those who so desperately need You. I ask that You help Your beloved children to see and recognize when the enemy is at work in our lives and when and how he is gaining access. In techno-speak Lord, I ask that You be our Heavenly Firewall - that You protect us from those who wish us harm. That you make us tenacious and strong in the face of adversity. I ask that You strip us children of any desires, thoughts or actions which are not of You. I ask that You protect the innocent from those who wish them harm, I ask that You free those who are bound by the enemy and allowing him to guide their desires and actions. I ask
that You provide us with compassion, grace, generosity and love. I ask that You remind Your children, everything is possible with You, Lord. Everything and anything. Please allow your warm redeeming Light of Love, Protection, Serenity and Peace to flow over Your children, over this beautiful world You have created. Fill us with so much of Your Light, Lord, that there is absolutely no room for actions, thoughts or feelings which are not guided by Your Love and Your Will. Allow us to understand, Lord Jesus, that this earthly life is not always going to be fair, or just. But that You always are and always will be; and what awaits us as Your children is far beyond our wildest imaginations. Help us Lord, help us to become what You created us to be; true reflections of Your goodness, Your love, Your strength. I love you, Lord, with all my heart, mind and soul. Thank you for the wonderful life you have blessed me with; thank You for not allowing me to stay when I made my trip Home earlier than You wanted me to. I was mad at You then, but I'm so grateful to You now. Please allow others who feel like arriving Home earlier than You plan to know that You understand their desires, their pain, their disapointments, but You are in control and only You should be the one to bring them home.
