I feel led of the Holy Spirit to share with you a special part of my life quite similar to yours.I pray for God's guidence in writing as these events are the reason I have faith today.
My first husband and I were married seven years,and I was pregnant with our third daughter when he decided he could no longer"play house"with me.And that is how he felt.He was pretending to love me.Because I went to a spirit filled church,I had many prayers being prayed for healing of our marriage.Two weeks before the birth of our last child,he came home for the"sake"of our children.I was over joyed at my second chance to be a better wife.Because of the stress I had been under,my baby girl was born three weeks early.I did not know at this time how ill she was,even though she remained hospitalized two weeks after her birth due to infections and jaundice.Her Daddy would not bond with her at all.He was angry inside and felt trapped as he still wanted his freedom.When Debbie was 13 months old,he left again.This time with another woman,and we never got back together.Debbie's illness progressed,and she began to have grandmal sesisures.I spent more time in the hospital with her than being at home.I called and asked if my ex would please take our two oldest daughter for awhile until Debbie got better.Not only did he say yes,came and got them,took them to another state and I never got them back.My grief was beyond explanation.He cancelled our hospital insurance and Debbie had to go to the Charity hospitals for care.Just before she turned two,an Aunt and Uncle of her dad's called and asked if they could help me with Debbie.I did not know at that time John,my ex,had told them I was abusing Debbie.All of them had decided I needed to give her up for adoption.The papers were drawn up and sighed by John before I had the knowledge of this.I took Debbie to them thinking I could get myself together enough to bring all my children home.Mentally I was Drainned.Spiritually I was clinging to hope like like a life jacket.I decided one day that enough was enough and I called the aunt and uncle and told them I was coming to get my little girl.When I got there,and saw how beautiful she looked,I was over joyed.When John's uncle came in and Debbie saw him,she reached up her arms and cried "Daddy".The spirit of God overwelmed me and I made a choice that minute to let them adopt Debbie,as she now had the greatest gift I could give her..a Daddy.I cried beyond ones ability as I drove home.I had given God the greatest part of me I had to give.This child was my heart.Debbie had to continue being treated as they found she had a brain defect that caused her to be slower than other children.She had infections in her blood requiring a transfusionWithout these people who were missionaries,Debbie would never have survived.Today she is a college graduate with a two year degree in child care.Debbie will always be a special child but is so full of love you cant begin to know from where it keeps coming.
Many years have passed and I have been reunited with my girls and we are one bonded group of women.Debbie's parents and I are very close and they have asked for my forgiveness in thinking I hurt Debbie.They saw it was her illness.
The point I am trying to make is that so often things happen in our life that we don't chose.We want God to fix everything our way.Sometimes He does things differently than we expect.But He never puts more on us than we can bear even when it seems He has forgotten us.I know now that I had many paths I could have taken to get throug this better.The greatest lesson learned was to Be still and wait upon the Lord and He will direct your path.It takes faith,trust,hope,patience,forgiveness,and love to walk through some of our trials.But most of all it takes a true relationship with our higher power,mine being Jesus Christ,to make it.The faith I have today and the wisdom would have deleted a mountain of problems my lack of understanding caused.I pray now that God will give you His peace.I pray that you situation will not take first place in your mind,yet the solution be your focus.God wants nothing more than your happiness,well being and sound mind.He is interested in your whole being.And these children,they need their Mother.Satan take your hands off of these children.They are not yours.Father bring forth your royal army to fight on behalf of this wife and Mother.Thank you that your mercy and grace will cover all of them and give Narcisa a specil portion of your wisdom today to KNOw what steps to take for her kids.In the name of Jesus I plead the blood over this family.amen.
