Dear Brooke, When I first had my foster son Robert aged 2+. He was crawling the walls. So bad in public too. I first put him on a special diet so he wasn't hyperactive. My girls were on the same diet anyway. What I had was a naughty chair. My girls did not go on it much by the time I had Robert. He began to understand what it meant. One day my Jessica was playing up and I sat her on the naughty chair, only to have Robert cry that that was his chair. So U have to have the sense of humour with children. I can look back a smile now. My little Granddaughter Kaydee started to have a tantrum in a store and I got right down face to face with her and made the same sound she was making, much to everyone amusement. My Kaydee started to laugh and I took her hand and she was as good as gold the rest of the shopping trip. The secret is do not let them win with bad behaviour show them good behaviour gets the treats. Kaydee has learned that now and always explain why to children. This is just my opinion. Dear Brooke, Proverbs 23:13 reads, Withhold no correction from the child, for if thou punishes him with the rod, he shall not die. In other words, spare the rod, spoil the child. Sometimes as parents we have to do things that we don't want to do for the good of helping our children. Whatever pnishment you choose, you will have to be consistent with it. Locking her in a room for 10 minutes sounds somewhat scary for a young one. Heavenly Father, bless this mother with the wisdom to guide her child to calmness, showing her that her behavior will not be tolerated and needs to change. Give her the strength to be strong and consistent in her disciplining. Grant her daughter the blessing of calmness so she can realize that her mother's direction is to be listened to and obeyed. This I ask in your name. Amen.

Dear Lord ... I pray you lay your hands on this child, I pray for her mother to have the strength and will power to do what needs to be done to guide her. I place them in your hands Lord. Send them the blessings you know they need. This in Jesus' name I pray Amen

Does she act this way when you are at home as well? You are the parent so the discipline needs to be consistent at all times regardless of how much she screams and kicks. She is controlling you.

O glorious Saint Ann, you are filled with compassion for those who invoke you and with love for those who suffer! Heavily burdened with the weight of my troubles, I cast myself at your feet and humbly beg of you to take the present intention which I recommend to you in your special care.
Please recommend it to your daughter, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and place it before the throne of Jesus, so that He may bring it to a happy issue. Continue to intercede for me until my request is granted. But, above all, obtain for me the grace one-day to see my God face to face, and with you and Mary and all the saints to praise and bless Him for all eternity. Amen.
