God Our Father, in Jesus' name, we thank you for this country and beg for your mercy. Lord, we owe our very existence to you and your holiness. I pray that you bless this country abundantly and let it be a light on the hill. Hear the cries of those who pray for you to guide us and lead us in your righteous ways. We pray that you stay with us in our homes, schools, businesses and every where we travel. Lord, until your return, we trust you to pour your holy spirit into this nation and raise up leaders who walk according to your ways! Father God, we come together in agreement with Icartoon to pray for the United States of America. We ask that you forgive all the sins of the land, for they are countless. We praise you for being a loving and merciful God who offers compassion on this country when it continues to openly rebel against your teachings and commandments. Change our hearts, O Lord, and bring us back to you with a great revival in the land. We pray that all Christians would be empowered by you to overcome all forces of Satan and to be a shining light to those in the community around them. May the godless see Jesus Christ living in our hearts. May they not only hear about Jesus by our words of mouth, but may they meet Jesus living within us and working through our lives as an extension of your loving arms to a lost world. Help your people to turn their cities, counties, states, and countries back to you.

We ask that you would be with President Bush in all the decisions he must make. May nothing be done by him and through him unless its first ordained by you and your sovereign reign over the land. Give us the direction you want us to go in for the future Lord. Help us to be a guiding light and example to the nations of the world. As Ecclesiastes teaches, there's a time for peace and a time for war. May we discern by your direction when the time comes to exercise either of them. Dear God, may we never rashly use force on others unless you first direct it and ordain it. We pray for world peace where possible because you state that you children are peacemakers. Give the leaders of the United States the wisdom to guide and direct our country in a Godly manner and without sin.

We ask the the people of the Democratic party and the Republican party can put aside their differences and work together in peace on the problems of our nation to bring healing to it. We pray that all senseless political bickering would come to an end and that you would bring peace and prosperity to the land. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
