I need prayers, boy, do I (and my family) need prayers and divine intervention..
We sold our home, had to leave because the new owners wanted to take possession immediately, despite the buyers being our close friends, if we didn't leave, they wanted us to pay rent even after telling us "We won't make you leave until you find your new home"
We made sure our process buying our new home was in place and we were told, "All is done, you've taken care of everything you need to take care of, just waiting on paperwork from the realtor of the home you are buying."
So, my husband and I put everything we owned in storage and loaded up our 5 dogs and 1 cat. We decided to take a mini-vacation for the 10 or so days until our new home was ready. We finally found a place at an RV park that also had cabins and would accept pets.
We are having to pay in excess of $100.00 each nite to stay, which we had expected and planned.
However, this morning, I contacted the bank handling the financing and discovered that somewhere along the way, the ball was dropped on their behalf and now we find that because of this, we may not be able to move into our new place as soon as we had been told we could do so because of missing paperwork, which we had previously been told was in place.
The problem? The owner of this beautiful location where we are staying needs the cabin for others who wish to stay here.
Essentially, we are homeless.
We aren't scared really, because our trust is in our Lord, but being the blasted humans we are, we ARE very, very frustrated and don't know what we are going to do.
I'm more worried about our "kids", even tho' they are extremely well behaved, clean and quiet, many places will not accept them.
Actually camping (in a tent) is a possiblity, but would prove to be extremely difficult to say the least.
The "kids" are confused, can't get 3 of them to "do their bidness" in a strange location, and I guess what I am asking for is prayers that we can hang on to our sanity, not exhibit anger toward the financing agent for failing to contact us and for telling us "all is FINE! Everything is in place!" when really wasn't.
I'm (& my beautiful husband) are trying so hard to remain upbeat, positive and in total faith God will intervene and help us.
I know there are more, far worse problems in the world. We are not oblivious to other's plight and we still feel for others who don't have the blessed lifestyle, togetherness that we do.
But, by the same token, our needs may not be as dire as others, but we do have this need for prayers.
