I have been close to where you are at and I know the agony you are in. I send my love and prayers to you.

Let me share some of my story. It's long and twisted but I'll try to condense it a bit. 8 years ago our 8 year old daughter was hit and killed by a car near where we lived. We were devastated but we had 2 more children to care for. So we pushed on. We grieved and we survived and sometimes that is all we did but we got through.
After that my husband started his own construction business and he built it up so that we could move to someplace I felt safe and we didn't have to worry about money. For over 7 years he ran a successful business until one day his health turned south. He simply couldn't work anymore. We lost our home, our business, and all that we had. We sold what we had left and bought a camper. It had been our dream to become full time RVers and we felt this was spirit's way of leading us to do so a bit sooner than originally intentioned. So we put ourselves in the hands of God and trusted that spirit would lead us where we were supposed to be.
We looked at it as an opportunity to learn, grow, and live our dream. And even though we live on very little we are happy.
I'm sorry that your marriage fell apart and that you are in such hard times but I believe everything happens for a reason. And there are lots of people who will help you along your journey if you let them.
My prayer for you is that you find your path and a way to follow it. We all have a purpose on this earth, I pray that you can live yours. For in finding and living your purpose there is peace and happiness.

Dear Lisa, I know exactly how you feel. My husband left me with two children, he refused to pay the mortgage and have not given me no money to help support our children. But I turn to God, I am depending on him solely for strength. Every single night and morning, I pray for strength. Please keep encourage and don't give up.
