Heavenly Father, you know all your people and all your children through good times and bad. You know all our needs. Just as you sent Jacob's sons to Egypt to buy corn to sustain them in a time of famine, we pray that you would show us how to survive and meet our needs in times of economic recessions and layoffs at work. They are to us today what times of famine were in Jacob's time. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
