DO NOT WORRY!! One of the major emotions that causes people to

live in pain and a.." what if"..life is worry. There is a big difference in being concerned and worried. Concern makes you move. It's a type of fear where you touch a hot stove and immidietely take away your finger. You will be concerned the next time you want to touch the stove. And for good reason.....Now worry is another thing all together. It is similar to instead of being concerned about touching the stove, You are afraid the stove will blow up and blow down your house. You will not sleep while the stove has a fire in it..........It is the same with life. Sometimes we let worry penetrate us so deep that we live like we are walking on crakers.We are paralyzyed to take a step for fear of falling into whatever is beneath. ....We don't take any step forward because we are afraid that we will offend somebody or that we have tried and it does not work. So we give up. Worry is a sin, many people do not think so, but it is. That is because we do not trust God enough to take care of our problem. Concern on the other hand is what makes us turn to God for help.
In order for God to help us, we have to trust and not doubt in our hearts. Many will say "..but I can't help it..". Yes you can help it. Worry is an emotion that grows over time to a point where that is basically all we do. We worry about the world ending, we worry about how our children are going to do at school or sometimes worry that if we let them out of our site they will be abducted..... with concern and trust in God we will take steps to ensure that our children get in and out of the bus safely. With worry we will panic everytime the bus gets to the bus stop and hold our breaths in fear that our child might be safe or then again..."what if"... something happened to her or him. The problem with worry is that we cannot even pray effectively. It diminishes our faith to the level of please don't let this happen or please LET this happen.
We limit the power that God gave us within.
Through out the Bible we are told even commanded not to worry that God is with us. Cast your cares upon him for He cares about you, it says to us. Another , "..do not worry about your lives..." This is a command from the master Himself. He goes on to explain that the birds don't worry yet they get fed, the flowers don't worry and yet not even Solomon the richest man who ever lived, could cloth himself as beautiful as a flower. So the point is for us to say our prayers with thanksgiving (knowing in our hearts that God is in control) and praise (knowing that we will recieve the answer). Make our requests known to God and then let go of it, and Let God do what you asked him. Sometimes He does say No or wait, or yes. But he always answers. but we have to be assured that even if he says no, he is thinking about our future down the road to Him. Some things are just not good for us.Even if we insist that they are.
We cannot depend on Feelings either. The reason being that feeling have to do with our emotions and or our intellect. Which compared to God's is really nothing. So, we have to trust completely in God's integrity that he will do as he says. And leave it there. Don't try to hinder God by (doing) something to hurry it up. When we pray unceasingly, we have to pray for the good of all. Not just for the one thing to happen. And always with humility and trust in a loving and merciful God.....................
Father we ask you to keep us free of the paralyizing effects of worrying. We ask you to be with us always and give us courage to do what we must do with freedom. Free of worry and anxiety. For we trust in You and we believe in You. We of ourselves can do nothing. With You all things are possible to us. I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord for everybody on this site and for the Your people outside. In Jesus Name. AMEN!!.....Sorry I may have misworded some things on this post. Thankyou brother for your good teaching. Let me say that this was my post as i have all along lived in worry and fear. Until i found that i could not trust anyone. The more i worried the more the problems came and the more the worries increased. Its good to be enlightned thro God,s people.Just the other day i realized that unforgiveness is another terrible sin! I always thought that since i was treated badly that i have all the right in the world not to forgive. But now am not bitter, am infact better! May the Lord continue to shower you with his wisdom that emantes from him to enlighten and teach us. May his blessings and joy fill you and your family always.Amen

Dear Dan, Thank you for this post. It makes alot of sense to me as I see Jason and Allyson going about their lives as best they can being their normal happy selves. Today they are going to Sydney to see a magician's show. They are staying in Sydney overnight and are really looking forward to it. They decided early on to give it all to God and pray, trust and believe that they are blessed in every way. Mostly, they feel at peace with their lives and live it to the fullest appreciating every moment. I really admire them for that. MR DAN YOU ARE SO RIGHT ....IT IS IN OUR WORD , ALL OF THE NASTY LIL EFFECTS OF WORRYING AND NOW IT HAS BEEN MEDICALLY LINKED TO ILLNESSES AND DISEASES AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE....IT IS HUMAN NATURE FOR US TO WANT TO FRET AND WORRY ABOUT THINGS..LOL..BEEN THERE DONE THAT TRYING NOT TO KEEP DOING THAT !!! BUT WE GIVE IT TO GOD THEN GO BACK AND PICK IT RIGHT BACK UP...WE ALL NEED TO STOP THAT BECASUE WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT OUR "FAITH" ???? WHEN WE PICK OUR BURDENS BACK UP IT SHOWS THAT WE ARENT "COMPLETELY" TRUSTING OUR HEAVENLY FATHER WE HAVE TO HAVE FAITH...AND IT GETS SO HARD...IM GOING THROUGH THAT RIGHT NOW, IVE HAD A REALLY HECTIC/CHOATIC WEEK BETWEEN GRADUATING, TAKING CARE OF A SICK CHILD, HOUSE-HUNTING, JOB-HUNTING AND DEALING WITH MY FIANCE ADDICTIONS/RELAPSES ITS HARD NOT TO WORRY. I KNOW I CANT STRADDLE THE FENCE I CANT CHOOSE TO GIVE GOD ONLY PIECES OR CERTAIN PARTS OF MY LIFE AND SAVE THE OTHER PARTS FOR MYSELF....LOL..IVE GOT TO GIVE IT ALL TO HIM, AMEN ?? AND KNOW THAT HE WILL PROVIDE FOR ME A LOT OF THE TIME WE KEEP OURSELVES FROM OUR BLESSINGS BY WORRYING...WORRYING AND HOLDING GRUDGES ARE THE TWO THINGS IVE HAD ISSUES WITH AND HAVE LEARNED THE HARD WAY HOW FAST IT CAN EFFECT AND DESTROY YOUR LIFE !!! Dear Brother Dan:
Yesturday was one of those days for me that it seemed everything was going wrong. My mom told me that on Tuesday night her right side of her face and shoulder got totally num,
she was scared and said she prayed and asked God to heal her.
I guess since she has health problems and her being so far away from us it just scared me because she lives alone. Then I called her doctor because they sent her to take blood out yesturday and she was suppose to have her results back yesturday to see how she is doing and if she could be taken off oxygen, well they never called back and I had to leave a strong message for the doctor and thank God they called her today and she will be able to take the oxygen off and her blood sugar levels are good the only thing that is not good is her cholesterol
it came out high, but now she knows she must watch what she eats, well as if that were not enough my son told me that yesturday when he was on his way to the park, some old man in a car was following him and harrasing him, and when he got to the park some guy there was badmouthing and trying to boss all the kids around & when he was coming back home he said some guy got out of a car and strarted cursing. Thank God he made it home well and safe. What really touched my heart was him telling me that he was not scared because he has faith in God and he knows God is with him. My day yesturday was tough, but at least today is better and this prayer inspiration that you wrote really got me through the day.

I'm sorry for writing soo much, but I just had to pour out my feelings and I know I can count on you as well as all my brothers and sisters on this site. & mainly what I'm trying to point out is........
That the closer we draw to God and the more we grow stronger in his word, the evil one tries to take our Joy, but if we remain strong and keep trusting and having faith in our Heavenly Father,
we are able to cast the evil one away from our lifes and continue standing strong and firm knowing that God is our STRENGTH AND GOD IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED........AMEN!!!!!!!!!!
