I have had a tumulterous relationship with my common law husband of 4 years. Combined we have four children. He has 1, I have 1, and together we have 2. I have known this man since 9th grade. About 2 and 1/2 years ago, I found out that his troubled son had molested my happy/healthy son. I had his son leave the house immediatley. Ever since than I watched our relationship crumble. He ignored me, stayed out all night frequently, refused to assist me with the kids, etc. and as a result of his behavior, I quit showing him affection. We tried couples counseling as well as individual counseling. We had even had a wedding date set. 1 week ago today, I left him! Now he claims that the only way we could ever have a future again is for me and the kids to pack up and move to the state where all of his family is. My family lives here. He told me that if I won't come, than we will forever live separate lives. Even if I were willing to try the move and didn't adjust to it well, the relationship would be over. I do not won't to leave my family and my homebase. I grew up without a father and it was painful at times. My children have been deeply affected by our separation. My 7 year old has a head to toe rash and stomach pain from the stress, my 3 year old has begun bed wetting and cries a lot, and my 21 month old is very clingy lately. F.Y.I. he states that he has tried MY WAY here in Co. for 4 years and my ways hasn't worked for us. So now it HAS to be HIS WAY. I must also mention he has a serious marijuana addiction which I think clouds his mind. I am deeply sickened by the whole thing and I don't know what to do. Please pray for my family.
