My daughter ran away 1 year ago on August 17. She went out on a date and never came home. My daughter is bipolar and is living with someone who is very bad for her. Because of his influence and that of his father she got off her medications. April 21st she found out that she is 5 months pregnant. She did not tell me this, but I do know that there is a possibility that the baby is her ex-boyfriend's child. She secretly sees him every time he comes home for a visit. He was a wonderful person and I know she still loves him but he left the area to go to college. His leaving crushed my daughter and gave this very negative person a chance to enter her life. Pray that the little girl my daughter is carrying is truly that of her ex-boyfriend's and Pray that my daughter comes home before the baby is born. I love my daughter more than life itself and I want her home where she will be safe.
I have not heard from my daughter in 5 days. She usually will send me a txt saying Good night - I love you - but I'm not even getting that. She needs your prayers so God will take the scales off her eyes and her to see clearly who really loves her.
Please continue to pray that my daughter comes back home to live. Pray that she will realize that coming home is not admitting failure.
My daughter spent 4 hours in the emergency room yesterday. She started having contractions. It is too early for the baby to come. She is not eating right and he is not helping her. Please pray that my daughter moves back home soon before something happens to her and the baby.
My daughter gave birth this morning to a beautiful little girl. The umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck three times, but she is fine. They have no money and my daughter got mad Sunday because I wouldn't drop everything to take her something she wanted. She called me every nasty name she could think of and then threatened to not let me see the baby when it was born. In 10 days it will be one year since she ran away. I'm tired. I give up. She will never come home. I just want to go to sleep.
August 17 will be one year ago that my daughter ran away. A lot has happened in that year. She is still off her meds but she told me that I wasn't through raising her yet. Obviously a year ago she thought I was through raising her.
On Sunday, August 31 - I received a phone call at my home. My daughter's birth mother has started calling. At first she lied and told me that she was a "friend from high school". I eventually discovered that the caller was the birth mother. The woman told me that she lied because she didn't know how I would take her calling (I told her I would have been just fine except I don't like being lied to ! ! !) She then thanked me for raising "her daughters". I told her that my girls were my daughters and I would appreciate it if she not call herself their mother - I'm their mother. After being told that she gave birth to them - "you only raised them". I hung up.
So - this weekend I lost my daughters and my grand-daughter. (How can I be a grandmother, if I have no daughters.) I don't think I have the strength to go on any longer. God has finally crossed the line. He gave me more than I can handle. The last 20 years of my life have been taken away by a stranger.
My daughter moved home last night with her baby and her friend. I didn't really want him to move in, but I can deal with him as long as I know my daughter is close. They are living in our two bedroom garage apartment. My husband helped them move all day yesterday. It was an exhausting day, but I finally have my daughter home. Please continue sending your prayers for her. She still needs to get back on her meds for the bipolar disorder.
I pray that you are open to the wisdom and blessings hidden within what appears to be an impossible difficulty. Know that you are never alone in what you endure--the love of God always accompanies you. Know that even in the darkest hour for you and your loved ones, you are being led along a journey toward your wholeness. If you trust that there is something at hand bigger than you can see, you may begin to see the blessings that are available to you even now. There is always an opportunity to grow and learn in all that we endure. Be encouraged and know that "this too shall pass."
Blessings,
Danielle

I am having to practice tough love with her as well it breaks my heart because there is nothing more I want to do than to go and grab her off the street and force her to come home. But that would only make her angrier all I can do is go to sights like this and ask other people in my situation to pray for my child and pray for thiers. It has helped spitiually I am so glad I found this sight I also pray for you to have the strenght to get through this terrible time
