Prayer For A Friend
My friend Anton is a very caring guy but he has low self-esteem. He feels as though God is constantly testing him and that he will never find true love. Over the past year, he has gone through a break up, his father's very sudden death, financial problems and many other issues some of which I'm not always aware of. He cares for others before he cares for himself and prays for others before himself. He believes that there are so many others who deserve to be prayed for before him. I feel that he has gone through so much that he does deserve a prayer, just as everyone on this earth does no matter who they are.

You are truly a caring, compassionate person. I pray that your friend Anton realizes that unless he cares for himself first, he can only in a limited way care for others. It is easy to care about other's problems, because we only have to talk about them;it requires no effort to change to bring about a better result.
I pray that Anton seeks first the love that God has shown him, that he understands the many qualities he possesses which are gifts from God, that he can then go forward and love others as God has loved him.
