Thank you all for all your prayers in december when Dad was diagnosed and operated on for bowel cancer. Thanks to your kind prayers we got him home three months later. It was a long struggle but he seemed to be getting back to his old self. He's 80 in july so has done really well. However he has been short of breath and wheezy these last few weeks and went for xrays to his chest on friday, doc informs us this morning he has shadows on the lung and they need further tests to rule out lung cancer and asbestos related disease. Please say a special prayer for him as hes been through so much and came so far. My mam also needs your prayers to help her through all of this as she had major heart surgery only last year and is still in recovery. i am dads carer and have been for two years i see him every day and put him to bed every night and to be honest i dont know if i can cope with losing him to lung cancer. I have three kids aged 18 17 and 13 and there all supportive as they love there grandad very much as we all do. Please please pray that the tests come back cancer free and asbestos free> Dad is a good kind man who always laughs and loves life so much. He still has so much to give and we all need and love him dearly. amen
