My simple request is to ask others, like myself, to find a way of keeping the Real and Living God in their hearts. In this world where I struggle through my own addictions and am faced with the harsh treatment that can sometimes come from others, all these things combined make - just making it through the day - so - difficult. At the end of the day, I am simply 'whipped' and without keeping Jesus alive inside me, I find things become so darned - hard! With Him, things outside me do not change - nope! Bad things still do happen, people still are sometimes awful, I still can make a mistake and the bills keep coming in - with Him, or, without Him, these things don't just suddenly - stop. However, with Him - I - am, different, different, at ease, more calm, at a level of peace that is inside me and when the things come my way, as they do, I don't react the same and they don't effect me the same. So, for today, dear Jesus, be with me and even more important than just - me, be with my Brothers and Sisters who may have stopped to read this and also touch their hearts in some way. Let them know You are there - inside of them, alive and real! My prayer request is to keep Jesus as a part of my everyday life and I share this with you.
