Mica, I can appreciate what you're going through. I just discovered this website last night as I was searching the internet for a prayer appropriate to ask God for help finding a job. I was fired January 17th by the owner of the company where I have worked for almost 6 years. I am a property management professional who has been very successful and won awards for my successes. This has been a big blow to me emotionally and financially. I am 57 years old, and I am the breadwinner for my family. I truly do know how you feel.

Dear God, please be with Mica as he interviews on Friday. Help him, Lord, to say the right words to display to the company that he will be an excellent employee. Be with his wife, God, as she struggles through this situation, too. Help her locate at least another temporary position to assist with the family's financial burdens. And most of all, Lord, keep your loving arms around Mica and his family through this difficult time and help them to remain focused on your love and grace. In God's name we pray. Amen
