I recently posted a prayer request for a job. I have been unemployed since January, and being the breadwinner for my family, this has been a tremendous burden on me. Yes, I still desperately need a good job. But, today I participated in the Raleigh, NC Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Looking out over the 25,000 participants and seeing all the pink T-Sjhrts (breast cancer survivors) and seeing all the names of the victims made me feel so very sad. I have excellent health, at 57 years of age, and for that I am most grateful to God. I would ask that along with praying for my job situation that everyone who visits this site pray for all the breast cancer victims in the world and for continued research that hopefully will soon find a cure. My heart aches for these women, as many of them had no hair and no eyebrows from chemotherapy. Others walked with the help of canes. Please pray for all of them. Thank you.
