"Rejoice in the Lord." -- Psalm 97:12
Friday, June 27, '08 -- 2pm/PT
Dear PrayAbout friends,
Between all the people losing their homes (and lives) with the mid-west flooding, the mortgage foreclosure crisis, fires in northern California, the war in Iraq, and suffering so financially as crude oil is now over $140 a barrel, gasoline over $4 a gallon, I almost feel self-indulgent asking for prayer, given that I have food, shelter and life, praise God. But it doesn't change any of these other people's situations, or make me of help or service to anyone else around me, that while I pray daily for God's guidance for His purpose and direction in my life, a day becomes a week becomes a month and still, in spite of several medications and weekly therapy, also, I continue to remain more and more isolated, more and more despondent.
Please take a moment to offer a prayer as "two shall agree as touching" that God "who knows what we need before we ask" will, through His supernatural grace and favor, open the doors and work through the people involved to help me reexperience joy and optimism in this "new day God has made," and share it with others. Amen, and thank you,
Anand/SF

I lift you up before our mighty God, for healing, for direction, and for mercy! Lord we thank you for bringing the supernatural into the natural, in the mighty name above all names Jesus! Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers, and answering them! Amen. Love Connie
