An important request from me

Dear Lord,

I truly am sorry for my sinfulness, lustfulness and lack of faith. I humbly beg you for guideance, love and to help me to be more faithful. I try to see your hand at work so that I may follow. You know my heart and my deeds. I am a sinner and have begged you for her salvation, I have done as she has asked and repeated my willingness to work on things and reconcile. I feel you have hardened her heart and aimed her to a downhill spiral. Please lord, soften her heart, give her guidance and lead her away from the other person. Please continue to work on my heart and build forgiveness in it. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Update - about 1 month ago:

Well, she has hired an attorney to make things even more difficult. I really don't care about what she asks for, I have asked her to tell me what she wants for a year and have yet to get an answer. It is more the idea of making this ugly for the kids. I have done so much for her and got nothing back. I have to believe that everything works to God's good and do; but, that does not mean everything is fun. I ask that you pray that things go according to God's will and that my family and I be comforted during this time. As I just found out about the attorney today I am still sad although I always figured it would come to this eventually. It just makes me sadder.

LORD, I LIFT DR48 INTO YOUR HEALING HANDS DURING THIS DIFFICULT AND PAINFUL TIME IN HIS LIFE. IT IS SAID, "TIME HEALS ALL WOUNDS", BUT IT IS THE TIME IN BETWEEN THE THE HEALING THAT IS SO DIFFICULT TO BEAR. LORD COMFORT HIM, STRENGTHEN HIM. LET HIM KNOW THAT YOU ARE GRIEVING ALONG WITH HIM SO THAT HE DOES NOT FEEL ALONE. LORD, YOU ARE THE GOD OF THE IMPOSSIBLE. YOU CAN DO ANYTHING. I ASK YOU, IN JESUS NAME O LORD THAT YOU RECONCILE THIS MARRAIGE, IF IT BE YOUR WILL. IF IT BE YOUR WILL, O LORD, MAKE THIS MARRAIGE STRONGER THAN IT WAS BEFORE. LET THERE BE MUTUAL FORGIVENESS BETWEEN THEM. YOU HAVE THE POWER TO REMOVE ALL OBSTACLES FROM THE MIST OF THIS RELATIONSHIP. AND YOU CAN REMOVE ANY ATTORNEY FROM THE MIST OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP TOO. ALL THESE THINGS I ASK OF YOU O LORD IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.
