My Sister in Christ, Debbie, Hold my hand and let's pray together right now...Lord Father, I come to you today holding my Sister in Christ with me. We have both come to you for the purpose of surrendering ourselves to you Lord. Releasing ourselves to you has not been an easy thing for us to do because we have always tried to control our environments, our lives, and the people in them...perhaps, that is why we are here today. Lord, I do not speak for her right here, but I know that I have had ulterior motives in most things I have done in life. I have done things after considering what was in it for me. Lord, even when I was turning to you, deep down inside there seemed to have been a deal attached to it. In other words, God, I will serve you and I will Pray, and I will do all for you if you will just bring my wife backt o me or ifyou will just give me a sign that things are going to be okay...No, Lord, you did not answer those prayers and nor should you have. But now, Dear Jesus, I stand as a Warrior alond with Debbie and we both come to you and commit ourselves to serving you without an expectation of what is in it for us other than the knowledge that we are Serving our Heavenly Father through the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord for the blessings that we both get everyday. Thank you Lord for placing me right here, right now, with my Sister Debbit with me. My Sister in Christ...I see that you posted this prayer request back five months ago...and I am just now seeing it...go figure. Anyway, my heart goes out to you over the difficulty you seem to be encountering since your divorce. I can't begin to imagine what you have been going through, as my wife left me a year ago and has filed for divorce; however, the divorce hearing has as of yet not happened. Words are just failing me right now so just let me pray for you. Father God, my Sister in Christ is calling out for prayer and support from her brothers and sisters and I stand with her and come humbly before your throne and ask that whatever it is that she is carrying in her heart that just gets in the way of putting you first and foremost be put aside. Lord pour out your blessings on this dear woman. Fill her cup over with your love, your mercy, and your grace. Thank you Lord for you Love for her and wrap your loving arms around her and guide every step that she take that they may be taken in accordance with Your direction...Amen.
