A recent high school graduate who had/has a very bright future ahead of him. He received a scholarship for football to a Methodist College. They may resind it because of a misfortune on his part.
A couple weeks before the end of school got out, a "friend" of his asked him if he could put some guns in his trunk. The young man thought they were just hunting rifles, since the two like to hunt together so he said yes. But told him to get them out by that evening.
The next morning he went out to his car only to discover they were not hunting guns, but assault type guns. He decided he would bring them to the police, but realized he was going to be late for school so he thought he would do it during lunch.
Well, the other boy turned him in once he got to school to divert attention from himself, since he was now charged with robbery.
The young man was expelled from school, he was allowed to get his diploma, but not on school property. Now the college may not let him attend.
This is a young man who goes to church every week, helps with the younger kids, is a GOOD kid, just made the wrong choice.
Please pray the school will let him in and the courts will see the mistake as a young person making a bad choice with no intention of harming anyone!
