Through The Fire.....
I want to share the lyrics of a song that I sang in church recently that seemed to lift up everyone's spirit and give hope...
So many times i've questioned certain circumstances
Or things I could not understand
Many times in trials, weakness blurs my vision
And my frustration gets so out of hand
Its then I am reminded I've never been forsaken
I've never had to stand the test alone
As I look at all the victories
The spirit rises up in me
And its through the fire my weakness is made strong

Beautiful Lyrics, Lisa. They are right on the money. It is like you say in these lyrics. He is the One who decides the time. We have to learn lessons of life which we would not like to because it does not feel good. Sometimes we learn by pain. There is a song in spanish that roughly translated says," Lord , you who created the heavens and the earth and the bright white snow, why did you create pain? You who created the birds and the flowers, the table filled with your blessings, why did you create pain? Lord like we see your hand in all these blessings let us see your hand also in our pain, in our anguish, and finally at our death. Blessed be Your Name forever..." Thank you Lisa for your prayers. Thank you my precious brother Dan!! You are right, even as we go through pain He is still with us through it all. It is hard to trust in God's timing, probably one of the toughest things ever, but His plan is always better than ours and we just have to trust Him and let Him be in charge of our lives. I think we step back and look at what we have come through, we can have a better understanding of what God is trying to teach us.
