Lord your word says to cast your cares upon him for he careth for you. Perfect peace will i give who's mind is stayed on me. Right now i bind the powers of darkness and the spirit of restlessness in Jesus name devil take your hands off of the man of god. what so ever i bind on earth is bound in heaven and what so ever i loose on earth is loose in heaven, so i loose the angels of the lord to encamp about you and to keep you in all of your ways. May angels souround your bed at night to watch over you. The lords word says I give my beloved sweet sleep.In the name of jesus peace be still. I plead the blood of jesus over your mind will and emotions. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the lord delivereth him out of them all.

Just a suggestion: why don't you go back to the Roman Catholic Church, go to confession, Communion, and start going to Mass? Once I did that myself after being away for twenty-five years, my life changed and I found peace and joy.

The Church has gone through much turmoil, but it was founded by Jesus himself who promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against it. Many Catholics are confused and become further confused when people who do not understand our faith try to interpret it for us. I recommend to you the Navarre Bible study books. Start with John.

I know how you feel, it is now 1:30am and I can't sleep either. I have PTSD and suffer from anxiety. Most nights when I pray it helps me fall asleep eventually. I hope you are able to get some rest soon.

I was told once that the Lord woke her up in the middle of the night with a particular burden on her mind, and she began to pray for these situations, and Satan not wanting her to pray would allow her to sleep, and the situations got better as well. Anyhow, I think praying not to sleep but about whatever burdens are on ones mind may help to put one to sleep.

Not sure what the candle thing is about.
