My husband's healing
My husband has kidney cancer that has spread to other organs after the removal of the kidney that had a tumor in it.
He has continuous "hiccups" that sometimes keep him from breathing and leave him gasping for air. The doctor thinks this is because the cancer has spread to the lungs and is affecting the diaphragm.
My prayer for him is that he have relief from these spasms, so that he is able to get enough nutrition, take his medication, and his supplements. I also pray that he is able to be calm and comfortable and that he can get restful sleep.
Update - about 1 year ago:
My husband went home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2007. I miss him, but I know he is watching out for me. I know his pain and suffering are at an end.

Thank you, Michael Anthony and the woman from San Francisco. My husband went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 21 at 5:40 PM. A private man to the end, he waited until the hospice doctor, nurse, and social worker had left the house, and he and I were alone. We were "watching" one of his favorite movies. He was gone about 15 minutes later.
I am so grateful for such a wonderful husband, though I am grieved to have him gone so soon. We had 9 magical years together. Thank you for your love and support and prayers. Michelle

Thank you for your prayer, Libbie. It has been four days since my husband got relief from hiccups. His is on medication for this and for a blood clot in the lungs. He was admitted into the hospital and was there for 5 days. During that time they found the blood clot. He is home and resting, taking his medications and supplements. His condition is serious, but we still pray for a miracle.
