Prayer for my Mom
My Mom has a rare nuerological disorder. She can no longer walk or talk. She needs prayer to have the strength to get through each day. Pray she gives her burdens to the Lord and that she is not afraid. We finally have some wonderful people taking care of her at home. She asked that we try to keep her at home as long as we could. Pray that financially we can do this for her, to let her feel safe in her home. She has to completely trust the people that are taking care of her because she is so vulnerable. None of the children are able to quit their jobs to take care of her. Again, pray that she accepts her situation and know that God is in control.
Update - about 1 year ago:
Please pray for my Moms safety. She has 2 new caregivers. They come from a reputable home health service. I pray that these 2 woman take care of my Mom as if she was their own Mother. Lord keep her safe. Amen
Update - 5 months ago:
Continue to pray for my Mom. We have had several different caregivers in her home. Two of them have stolen from her. Thank God they did not hurt her. We are now struggling with the financial assistance to keep her at home. She will not have adequate care in a nursing home. She needs one on one care and constant assistance as she can no longer do anything for herself. She still knows what is happening around her. Pray she feels safe. Amen
