About Me:

I have a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). My only physical disability is I do not drive. And this is a DRIVING world. I have a lot of friends that drive me. I am not a NEEDY person. But I am at the needs of having transportation. I own my home, volunteer 3-5 days a week. I was a travel agent when I hit a cow in the highway, driving home from work. A car rear-ended me then. I was left for dead. Life-flighted to the hosptial, in surgery 8 hours, in hospital 8 months. Was told I would never walk, talk or see again. I am very independent, except for the driving issue. When I tell someone I do not drive, they look at me as a "weirdo". I am very normal, outgoing, responsible woman.
